South Simcoe Police is Not current hiring.
South Simcoe Police is not actively recruiting for experienced officers. However, we are accepting resumes from candidates who have served with Ontario police agencies. The candidate must have completed a period of probation, pursuant to Section 44.1 of the Police Services Act. Your resume will remain on file for a year.
Requirements:
- Successful completion of recruit training at Ontario Police College
- Successful completion of the prescribed probationary period, according to Ontario Police Service Act. (prior to applying)
- Valid Driver’s licence
- Valid CPR level ‘C’ and Standard First Aid certificates
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent
- Valid Ontario fitness PIN or PREP test
- Be a member in good standing with their current Police Service
